Oscar is the first player to ever score a hat-trick in the FIFA U-20 World Cup final. Chelsea officially confirmed on its website that the club had agreed terms with Internacional for the transfer of Oscar. The midfielder agreed personal terms with the club and passed a medical examination. The transfer fee was rumoured to be priced at €25 million.

Kalou signs for Lille

Salomon Kalou  signs for Lille of France today. Kalou has agreed a four-year deal at the Ligue 1 side after being released at the end of last season following six years with the London club.

Victor Moses set to Sign for Chelsea.

Victor Moses might be signing for Chelsea in the next 24 hours as Chelsea are willing to improve on their former bid. News in England this afternoon reports that a 7million pounds deal plus adds-on is what Chelsea will be offering, the bid means that Liverpool will not be the first choice of the Nigerian as Chelsea is offering more wages.

Talk stalls over Cole's contract

Ashley Cole has only a year left on his contract and looks set not to enter any talks to sign a new deal with the European Champions. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and wealthy clubs from China and the Middle East tried signing the England international last summer and may as well renew their interest in Cole. 
However, Chelsea is believed not to let Cole go as a free agent.

Walcott might also leave Emirates

Theo Walcott is very unhappy that Robin Van Persie will not be extending his tenure at the Emirates and therefore he's rumored to also be on his way out of Arsenal. Pep Guardiola to leave Barcelona

It is now official that Barcelona most successful coach Pep Guardiola will be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season according to Reuters.

The coach will not be extending his contract, he has been on a rolling contract since he took over from Frank Rijkaard. The 41 year old is expected to take a year holiday out of football.

Guardiola has won three successive La Liga titles since being handed the reins, while he lifted the Champions League trophy in 2009 and 2011, subsequently winning the FIFA Club World Cup on two occasions also.

Terry apologizes

Chelsea skipper, John Terry has apologized to his team mates and club fans for letting them down after being sent off for a silly challenge on Sanchez.

Terry told sky sports after viewing the replay that "Sanchez was darting in behind me. I've seen the replay and it does look bad.I'm not that type of player to intentionally hurt anyone. Wenger blames wigan for loss

Arsene Wenger blamed Wigan for time wasting in their game yesterday. Wigan scored in the 7th and 8th minute and kept control of the game for most of the playing time. Arsene refused to shake Martinez's hand and yet still claims that he heartily congratulates them for the success. He has complained about each game they lost this season.

Wigan shocks gunners

Wigan surprised a mis-firing Arsenal yesterday to help boost their premier league survival. Franco Di Santo fired the Latics - who last week beat leaders Manchester United - ahead on the break after seven minutes, before Jordi Gomez doubled their lead inside 90 seconds.Varmaleen later scored through a powerful bullet header but couldn't help the gunners through. Piermario Morosini, 25 who is loan from Udinese collapsed on the pitch yesterday in a seria B match between Livorno and Pescara and died before getting to the Hospital. A similar even occurred in England some few weeks back but Fabrice survived that. Piermario Morosini death made all seria A matches to be postponed.

Manchester United defeat keeps hope alive for City

Manchester United were defeated by Wigan 1-0 on Wednesday night in the barclays premier league. Shaun Maloney put wigan in good seat in the 50th minute, the visitors then struggled to level but a cry for a penalty was over ruled by the referee. Meanwhile, City enjoyed a 4 goal thriller score margin over West Brom, Sergio Aguero scored a brace, Tevez also scored in the 61st minute before David Silva wrapped it up in the 64th minute. The game sees City reduce the gap between them and United to 6 points.

Emirate stadium will welcome back three of their former players today in a game with Manchester City but Robin Van Persie is keen to welcome one person in particular; Kolo Toure.

Guardiola reacts to Mourinho

Mourinho wrote off Chelsea from qualifying to the finals of this year's champions league due to the fact that they will be playing one of UEFA's favorite team. Wilshere faces slim hope of Europe

Jack Wilshere suffered an ankle injury last summer and as not featured for the London club since then. Alex: Chelsea players feel bigger than the club

The former Chelsea defender made a critical remark about his team mates at Chelsea saying that some players in the dressing room feel bigger than others and that was the major reason the club experienced a slope in this season's campaign.

Torres hit superb form

Torres scored a superb 4th goal against Aston Villa to give the blues all 3 points. Torres was outstanding through out the all 90 mins and gave the opposition defenders a lot of trouble. Chelsea were 2 goals up before Villla equalized within 3mins in the 77th and the 80th minutes. Ivanovic scored a brace to put Chelsea in front in the 82nd mins before Torres sealed the victorry for the blues.

Petrov retires

Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov has announced his decision to retire from the game as he fights against acute leukaemia. Petrov, 32, was diagnosed with the condition on Friday after falling ill with a virus after the game against Arsenal last weekend. He has made 30 appearances for the club this season in all competitions.
Speaking to Bulgarian sports daily Tema Sport, Petrov said on Saturday: "Football is over, this is the end. I am now beginning to fight for my life and I will fight.
"I lost my energy early in the second half [at Arsenal] and it was very unusual for me.
"But this is life, you see we drank a coffee in London a week ago and now we're talking about things like this.
"I'll fight, it's clear and I also would like to thank everyone for the support from all around the world."

Aston Villa captain diagnosed with cancer of the white blood cell

Bulgarian international and Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov, 32, has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. His condition was diagnosed after he developed a fever following a match against Arsenal last Saturday.

Acute leukaemia (cancer of the white blood cells) is fatal if left untreated and the midfielder's condition is said to be progressing rapidly and aggressively and requires immediate treatment. God be with him.

Anzhi wants Torres

The Daiy Mail says Torres is a target for the rich Russian club Anzhi.
The Spaniard  is starting to show the form that persuaded Roman Abramovich to pay Liverpool £50m for him in January 2011.

Chelsea contact Blanc

Mercato365.fr says Chelsea representatives have approached Blanc about a move to London and the response has been positive. Blanc is open to the move, but remains committed to the France job and has asked Chelsea to wait until June for him to make a decision. Barca blames pitch for poor performance

Barcelona have lodged a formal complaint to UEFA regarding the state of AC Milan's pitch for the clubs' Champions League quarter-final first leg draw.Guardiola said after the match that "Milan should take some measures (referring to the pitch),We play where we are told to play, but I do not think that Inter and Milan want a pitch with these conditions"
