Di Matteo in good start

Di Matteo won his first game in charge of Chelsea in the FA Cup match against Birmingham, a game with a scoreline of 2 - 0 in favor of Chelsea.

Juan Mata opened scoring in the54th minute and a second goal by Meireles in the 60th minute  were enough to see Chelsea through to the next round.
